AJ is a 4 year old black and white Parti Cocker Spaniel. He and his brother Aaron were staying with family friends while the owners were on vacation. While in the care of the friends, they got out of the yard and was found by a wonderful family who took them in and began a search for the dogs family. The family was found, but were currently looking to re-home their Cockers. Once they found out that there was a rescue involved, they asked if the dogs could join our rescue so that appropriate homes could be found for them. We do not know much about their former life. We do feel that they took very good care of the dogs. They are very well mannered, enjoy getting out and exploring their world, but also very content to stay in the house. The family that found them said that from the very first day, neither boy ever had an accident in their home. Aaron and AJ are much happier apart than together, so we are looking for individual homes for them. For more information, please contact [email removed]

We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) **If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
